The worst performers of the session were Whitehaven Coal Ltd (ASX:), which fell 18.07% or 0.225 points to trade at 1.020 at the close. Bravura Solutions Ltd (ASX:) declined 13.43% or 0.58 points to end at 3.74 and Polynovo Ltd (ASX:) was down 8.47% or 0.200 points to 2.160.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 766 to 535 and 347 ended unchanged.

AUD/USD was up 0.06% to 0.7198, while AUD/JPY rose 0.05% to 76.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 93.097.
