The worst performers of the session were Al Kathiri Holding Co (SE:), which fell 3.07% or 4.80 points to trade at 151.80 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:) declined 1.47% or 0.18 points to end at 12.06 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:) was down 1.40% or 0.18 points to 12.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 28 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.21% or 0.08 to $37.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.65% or 0.26 to hit $39.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 16.05 to trade at $1948.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.4436, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.338.
