
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Marke (SE:), which rose 10.00% or 2.95 points to trade at 32.45 at the close. Meanwhile, The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:) added 9.92% or 2.60 points to end at 28.80 and Al Aseel Co Ltd (SE:) was up 9.46% or 7.20 points to 83.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baazeem Trading Co (SE:), which fell 5.07% or 5.10 points to trade at 95.50 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:) declined 3.28% or 3.30 points to end at 97.30 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:) was down 1.87% or 0.90 points to 47.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 49 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Aseel Co Ltd (SE:) rose to all time highs; up 9.46% or 7.20 to 83.30.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.53% or 0.25 to $47.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $50.30 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.65 to trade at $1872.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.5717, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7522.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 90.312.
